Breakfast time..

It gets rather busy at the wee fast food bird table joint in the mornings, and what appear to be cute fluffy (ok, feathery) creatures are if you watch them for a while all rather aggressive little monsters, buzzing and chasing each other away from the best perch and feed, just like unruly kids in the school canteen, there is indefinably a pecking order (literally). And the mess they create, well, at least our kids would if nagged enough clear up after themselves, these guys have no consideration at all. Still, thats a minor gripe considering the pleasure from having them as guests. And a few are getting rather brave this year, still feeding whilst we are sitting a few feet away and even venturing onto Gills arm for more treats.

Good job we don't have a cat !

these are great pictures, Happy Snap(p?)er, not sure which is my favourite - the birds are up there, the tumble down doorway/shed thing, the fact that the boys aren't blurred. Excellent.

Lovely photo. My garden birds are a bit wild and shy, but then we do have a cat who is inclined to sit under nextdoor's bird table. He wouldn't dare do it under the one in his own garden. Do you get anything unusual, being 'Ooot in the wilds?'

Photo is gorgeous. I agree about the pleasure the birds bring/ Never mind the cost of food or the mess eh?
Thank you for moving my blog announcement, there was no need, hope you don't think I was moaning!
Glad I've found your blog anyway and lovely pics too.

What an excellent photo, but then you Dear Happysnaper are true professional with the camera. I just love to watch the birds, and see them feeding, although now I have adopted a JRT she has killed 3 birds this year, it really upsets me, but of course it is not her fault, she is BAD! Nice to talk with you on phone recently, and so too your lovely other half our very Dear Westerwitch.

Thank you for your message Happysnaper. Re Calendar, perhaps we could have a poll to see what others think? It will all be completely "straight-laced" I'm sure, so it has to have that special something to attract the sales, but then we all have that here in our wonderful Purplecoo Land, perhaps a Charity of you and Westerwitch that you would like to support, seeing as you both wonderful people gave us this beautiful Site. Oh, I hope I have not gone on too much, I shall stop now, and go and get myself a hot cuppa and a cookie!

Cor berludy hell and all that - I hadn't even realised my other half had blogged - hangs head. Been too busy with the site . . . good grief . . . I love the photo too and am so pleased that HS gets a much pleasure from the bird table as I do. And do you know what . . he even cleans up after our little feathered friends. So thank you HS.
